Description For Amazon Dedicated Cloud Engineer II, ADC Analytics

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Dedicated Cloud Engineer II to join their ADC Analytics team, working on some of the largest distributed systems in the world. This role is part of AWS's database services team, managing critical offerings like Athena, OpenSearch, Elastic Map Reduce, Glue, QuickSight, LakeFormation, and Redshift.

The position offers an exceptional opportunity to work with world-class technical teams in either Denver, Seattle, or Herndon locations. The ideal candidate will possess deep Linux experience in large-scale distributed environments, strong networking knowledge, and excellent troubleshooting abilities. A key requirement is maintaining an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

The ADC Analytics and Big Data Services team comprises Systems Engineers, System Development Engineers, and Software Engineers who embrace Amazon's "Work hard. Have fun. Make history" philosophy. The team focuses on building and improving tools and services that engineers want to use, while pioneering mechanistic improvements in managed service operations.

As part of AWS's Utility Computing (UC) organization, you'll support critical infrastructure services including Amazon S3, EC2, and other innovative products. The compensation package is comprehensive, ranging from $105,200 to $188,200 based on geographic location, plus equity opportunities and full benefits.   • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
