Description For Amazon Dedicated Cloud Engineer, IREO

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a dedicated Cloud Engineer to join their team supporting the U.S. Intelligence Community. This role combines operational support and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, distributed systems for U.S. Government customers. As part of AWS's infrastructure team, you'll be responsible for keeping the cloud running, managing data centers, and ensuring continuous service delivery.

The position requires expertise in Linux administration, cloud platforms, and system operations. You'll work on complex operational challenges unique to AWS's scale, collaborating with diverse teams to drive large-scale system decisions. The role involves supporting services before they go live, maintaining operational excellence, and participating in on-call rotations.

  • Associate's degree, or Cloud+ or GICSP or GSEC or SSCP certification
  • 5+ years of administrative experience with Linux or cloud platform environments

  • Must be a US Citizen
