Description For Amazon Dedicated Cloud Engineer, IREO

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a dedicated Cloud Engineer to join their IREO (Infrastructure Reliability Engineering Organization) team. This role is crucial in supporting the Intelligence Community's mission by ensuring the highest levels of availability, scalability, and security for AWS systems.

The position requires a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and involves working with some of the largest distributed systems in the world. You'll be part of a team that provides worldwide support with a focus on continuous improvement, maintaining exceptionally high standards for infrastructure and employee performance.

As a Cloud Engineer, you'll be responsible for supporting and maintaining software services in Amazon Dedicated Clouds, working on critical infrastructure that powers AWS global operations. You'll collaborate with internal development teams, handle complex issue escalations, and work on automation to improve system efficiency.

The role offers unique opportunities to work with cutting-edge technology while supporting national security initiatives.
