Amazon Dedicated Cloud Engineer, IREO

AWS Infrastructure Services (IREO) is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to support the Intelligence Community's mission. This role combines technical expertise with operational excellence, focusing on maintaining highly reliable and secure systems at scale. You'll be part of the team that owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have strong Linux/Unix administration skills and experience with cloud platforms. You'll work on supporting and engineering next-generation compute and storage platforms, ensuring the highest standards of availability, scalability, and security. The role involves collaboration with various teams, including software development, hardware design, and service owners.

Key responsibilities include supporting software services in Amazon Dedicated Clouds, maintaining system health, implementing automation solutions, and participating in on-call rotations. You'll be involved in testing, integration, and establishing key infrastructure before services go live.

This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph, reflecting the critical nature of the work. You'll be working with AWS's most sensitive infrastructure, supporting government agencies and the Intelligence Community.
