AWS Infrastructure Services (IREO team) is seeking a dedicated Cloud Engineer to support the Intelligence Community's mission. This role combines technical expertise with operational excellence in managing large-scale distributed systems. You'll be part of a team that maintains AWS's global infrastructure, ensuring the highest standards of availability, scalability, and security.

The position requires strong Linux/Unix administration skills and the ability to work with various service owners and hardware design teams. You'll be responsible for supporting and maintaining software services, implementing automation, and being a key escalation point for complex technical issues. The role demands a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

As part of AWS's Infrastructure Services team, you'll be at the forefront of cloud computing, working with cutting-edge technology and solving complex problems that impact thousands of variables in the supply chain.   • Support software services before they go live through testing, integration and establishing key infrastructure
  • Maintain software services by measuring and monitoring availability

  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation

  • 5+ years of administrative experience with Linux or cloud platform environments

  • Ability to understand and execute documented procedures
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting
