Amazon Dedicated Cloud Engineer, IREO

AWS Infrastructure Services (IREO team) is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to support the Intelligence Community's mission. This role combines deep technical expertise with customer obsession, focusing on building and maintaining some of the largest distributed systems in the world. The position requires strong Linux/Unix administration skills and the ability to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and engineering next-generation compute and storage platforms, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. You'll work in a team that provides worldwide support with a focus on continuous improvement, maintaining exceptionally high standards for infrastructure and service delivery.

Key aspects of the role include collaborating with software development teams, handling complex issue escalations, working with hardware design teams, and developing automation solutions. The position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph, demonstrating the critical nature of the work.

You'll be part of AWS's global infrastructure team, essentially keeping the cloud running by supporting all AWS data centers, servers, storage, networking, and related equipment.
