AWS is seeking an Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) Engineer to join their team working with U.S. Intelligence Community and Defense agencies. This role focuses on implementing innovative cloud computing solutions and deploying AWS Systems Manager services in air-gapped regions. The position requires a TS/SCI security clearance and offers an opportunity to work with the largest cloud infrastructure globally.

The role combines hands-on technical work with customer interaction, requiring both deep technical expertise and strong problem-solving abilities. You'll be part of AWS Utility Computing (UC), which provides foundational services like S3 and EC2, while supporting specialized security solutions for government customers.

Requirements For Amazon Dedicated Cloud Engineer, MAS2

Linux
  • Associate's degree, or Cloud+ or GICSP or GSEC or SSCP certification
  • 3+ years of experience operating in Unix, Linux, or Red Hat environment
  • 3+ years of experience implementing automated software testing, scripting, deployment, and performance analysis systems
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
  • Experience with standard Internet protocols and networking fundamentals
