Responsibilities For Amazon Robotics Electrical Engineer

  • Work with interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept to production
  • Own a large component of a subsystem from concept to fielding
  • Coordinate with cross-functions to ensure project success
  • Write and develop functional specifications, design verification plans and test procedures
  • Design and implement complex embedded systems and circuits
  • Support product releases to manufacturing and customer deployments
  • Execute tasks to ambitious schedules
  • Establish development processes to meet industry standards for functionally safe control systems

Requirements For Amazon Robotics Electrical Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in electrical, firmware and system level design
  • Experience in schematic entry, layout tools and design for manufacturability
  • Experience designing high volume printed circuit boards
  • Experience designing complex schematics with FPGA's, microcontrollers or microprocessors
  • Experience with mixed signal designs
  • Experience with serial communication interfaces (CAN, SPI, Ethernet, USB, etc.)
  • Experience executing design reviews
  • Familiar with PCB layout design and best practices
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
