Amazon Robotics empowers a smarter, faster, more consistent customer experience through automation. We automate fulfillment center operations using various methods of robotic technology including autonomous mobile robots, sophisticated control software, language perception, power management, computer vision, depth sensing, machine learning, object recognition, and semantic understanding of commands.

As a Systems Engineer Co-op, you'll be part of the Robotics Deployment Engineering team, overseeing the installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of Amazon Robotics equipment within new and existing fulfillment centers. This field engineering-based role requires technical skills related to the deployment of robotic equipment including work with mechanical, electrical, networking, and software systems.

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Work on cutting-edge robotics systems in various phases of the product life cycle
• Develop process documentation and modify existing processes
• Troubleshoot robotics systems, perform testing, and monitor system performance
• Work primarily in a construction or warehouse environment in a field-based role
• Travel extensively across the US (up to 75% travel required)

This co-op provides a unique opportunity to have direct access to robotics testing labs and manufacturing facilities in our state-of-the-art campuses in Westborough, MA and North Reading, MA.
