Description For Application Engineer II, FinTech

Join Amazon's Finance Technology (FinTech) team as an Oracle Applications Developer on the Payment Orchestration and Planning team. This role offers the opportunity to work on one of the world's largest Oracle ERP implementations by volume and complexity. You'll be responsible for driving architectural and design choices, inventing new features, and building scalable solutions in Oracle Applications.

The position requires deep expertise in Oracle's e-business suite and development tools, with a focus on financial systems that support Amazon's global growth. You'll work with a diverse team of top engineering talent in an environment that encourages innovation and ownership. Requirements For Application Engineer II, FinTech

Java
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related field
  • 5 years of experience in the job or related occupation
  • 4 years experience developing solutions for Oracle's e-business suite
  • Experience with Oracle's development tools including SQL, PLSQL, BI publisher, Workflow Build and JDeveloper
  • Experience with e-business suite applications (AR, AP, Procurement, iProcurement, iExpense, GL, Inventory, or Fixed Assets)
  • Experience engaging Oracle Support to research and resolve issues
  • Ability to work in a diverse team
