The Automated Reasoning Group in the AWS Neuron Compiler team seeks an Applied Scientist to work at the intersection of AI and program analysis. This role focuses on enhancing code quality in their state-of-the-art deep learning compiler stack, which optimizes application models across various domains, including Large Language and Vision, from frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and JAX.

The position involves working with AWS's custom-built Machine Learning accelerators, Inferentia and Trainium, representing the forefront of AWS innovation for advanced ML capabilities and Generative AI. As an Applied Scientist, you'll be crucial in designing and implementing analyzers for ML compiler stages, publishing research, and mentoring talented team members.

  • PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience
  • 3+ years of building models for business application experience
  • Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals
  • Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
  • Experience in algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing
