Responsibilities For Associate Physical Security Engineer, Data Center Design Engineering

  • Lead security designs for DCs in Americas Region
  • Impact AWS global DC security standards
  • Provide technical guidance on DC facility design
  • Review and evaluate new technologies and security measures
  • Collaborate with other AWS Security Teams
  • Manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously
  • Review and direct work of physical security engineering design consultants
  • Participate in maintenance of design standards and specifications

Requirements For Associate Physical Security Engineer, Data Center Design Engineering

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field or equivalent additional experience
  • 4+ years of physical security design experience
  • 1+ years of physical security design experience in data center or similar mission critical projects
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Working knowledge of physical security principles
  • Knowledge of Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED)
