Responsibilities For Audio and Sensor Data Engineer, Audio Data Engineering

  • Work with software and science teams to create data collection plans and test cases
  • Execute use case scenario based testing on devices
  • Write, read, run, and develop test scripts in Python
  • Debug and restore data collection systems
  • Support projects including setup and verification of system components
  • Provide technical support to field operation or vendor teams
  • Execute tests and ensure connected devices meet requirements
  • Document best practices and maintain testing processes

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Python coding skills
  • Experience with writing test plans, use cases, and issue reports
  • Effective written communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and operate independently
  • Experience with parsing, maintaining, and verification of large data sets
  • Experience working with consumer device hardware
  • Ability to trace and debug complex Software-hardware hybrid systems
  • Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs when needed
