Amazon Operations is seeking an Automation Engineer to join their Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, focusing on maintaining and optimizing technologies in their Global Warehouse & Delivery Network. Responsibilities For Automation Engineer, Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering

  • Be the site level Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all controls systems and sensors
  • Train technicians in control systems fault finding
  • Monitor Material Handling Equipment (MHE) metrics
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Maintain system documentation and backup libraries
  • Support installation and commission of new equipment
  • Support other sites in the Mexico network
  • Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings

Requirements For Automation Engineer, Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering

Linux
  • Relevant experience with PLC controlled automation and issue diagnosis
  • 2+ years of experience supporting conveyors and sortation systems
  • Experience in material handling, flow and capacity visualization and monitoring
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, Ignition, Visio and AutoCAD
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (B2+)
  • Bachelor's degree
