Responsibilities For AV Support Engineer I, OAV

  • Provide in-person service and support for AV/VC systems
  • Troubleshoot complex integrated AV systems
  • Work with IT technicians, contractors and integrators
  • Communicate with manufacturers and vendors for equipment repair
  • Manage local inventory

Requirements For AV Support Engineer I, OAV

  • BA/BS degree in a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience
  • 2+ years of experience in the AV sector
  • Experience with AV technologies (Extron, Crestron, BiAmp, Cisco, Shure and Poly)
  • Experience with network technology including video and audio over IP
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work at height (<= 8 Feet)
  • Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs
