AWS Dedicated Cloud Engineer, Commerce Platform

AWS Commerce Platform is seeking a dedicated cloud engineer to join their specialized team supporting U.S. Intelligence Community operations. This role sits within the AWS Commerce Platform, which provides critical infrastructure and services enabling AWS teams to sell their services and help customers manage infrastructure costs.

The position requires expertise in operational excellence, Linux systems, networking, and cloud services. You'll be part of Team Mercury, supporting hundreds of production services and pipelines with significant impact on Commerce Platform operations. The role combines hands-on technical troubleshooting with strategic thinking to automate and improve operational processes.

As a key member of the team, you'll investigate system patterns, resolve operational issues, and work on complex distributed systems at massive scale.
