AWS Dedicated Cloud Engineer, Team Gumby

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a dedicated Cloud Engineer to join Team Gumby, supporting the AWS Commerce Platform and CloudWatch services. The position requires a TS/SCI security clearance and focuses on CloudWatch Monitoring services and operations. You'll be working with cutting-edge cloud computing technologies, solving complex technical problems, and supporting hundreds of production services and pipelines. The role combines technical expertise with operational excellence, requiring strong skills in Linux, networking, and cloud services.

As part of the AWS Utility Computing (UC) organization, you'll support critical services including Amazon S3, EC2, and other innovative AWS products. The role demands expertise in distributed systems, performance engineering, and automation of complex tasks. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with multi-disciplined software development teams to deliver high-quality services to customers.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with cloud computing technologies and production environment support. Strong Linux command line skills and scripting abilities (bash/Python) are essential. You'll be responsible for investigating metrics, troubleshooting complex systems, and implementing automation solutions to improve service efficiency.
