As a BIM Engineer in the Global Robotics Delivery team, you'll be part of a dynamic organization that combines robotics, software, and innovation to solve real-world challenges in fulfillment center operations.

The role involves working with cutting-edge technology including autonomous mobile robots, sophisticated control software, computer vision, and machine learning to automate fulfillment center operations. You'll be responsible for 3D modeling, meshing, and feature extractions of physical facilities and equipment, while working closely with field engineers and cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing 3D modeling and BIM initiatives
  • Analyzing multi-layer engineering models for clash detection
  • Managing 2D and 3D information for coordination and design projects
  • Processing 3D LiDAR data and supporting field on-site scanning
  • Developing standard operating procedures for reality capture
  • Leading coordination meetings with deployment teams

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $81,400 to $182,000 per year, depending on location and experience, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, financial, and other benefits. Responsibilities For BIM Engineer, Global Robotics Delivery - Deployment Readiness Tech Transformation (TfX)

  • Perform 3D modeling, meshing, and feature extractions of physical facilities and equipment
  • Participate in and execute on 3D and BIM modeling initiatives
  • Analyze multi-layer engineering models for clash detection and produce detailed clash reports
  • Maintain organization and management of 2D and 3D information
  • Maintain and follow QA/QC procedures
  • Support field on-site scanning and process/register 3D LiDAR data
  • Develop and streamline standard operating procedures for reality capture
  • Lead coordination meetings with cross-functional deployment teams

Requirements For BIM Engineer, Global Robotics Delivery - Deployment Readiness Tech Transformation (TfX)

  • BS in Mechanical, Industrial, Architecture, Civil, or equivalent
  • 3+ years Autodesk experience (Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, ReCap, and BIM360)
  • 2+ years Point cloud processing and modeling experience
  • 1+ years Industrial experience working with cross functional teams and field operations
  • Excellent business communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
