Responsibilities For Business Intel Engineer, SCOT AIM Planning

  • Collaborate with and influence stakeholders, providing thought leadership, product expertise, and business insight
  • Own and execute retail inventory guidance planning cycles
  • Work across teams to deliver the Inventory Planning BIE Roadmap
  • Create insights on product availability and inventory levels
  • Drive changes through insights to improve planning, buying and sourcing
  • Develop improvements and invent new ways to analyze trends via internal worldwide customer portal
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to build centralized tools
  • Partner with Engineers to design products and systems using AWS redshift
  • Analyze customer behaviors and spot system defects
  • Design and implement technical solutions with appropriate analytics strategy

Requirements For Business Intel Engineer, SCOT AIM Planning

Python
  • 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
