Business Intelligence Engineer

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join their team responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure. This role is crucial in enabling data-driven decision making within the AWS Data Center Infrastructure Operations organization.

As a BI Engineer, you'll work with massive datasets to support all aspects of Data Center operations, including safety, security, maintenance, daily operations, logistics, engineering, and equipment management. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining the information data warehouse and utilizing insight platforms to enable decision support systems.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent business and communication skills, with a passion for working with huge data sets. You'll build ETL processes, create end-user facing reporting applications, and work closely with business customers to define analytics requirements. This position offers the opportunity to work with big data and emerging technologies while driving business intelligence solutions end-to-end.

Key technical requirements include moderate to advanced SQL skills, experience with visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI, and knowledge of data modeling concepts.
