Amazon's Advertising Trust organization is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to drive data-driven insights and solutions. This role is crucial in building actionable metrics for both internal and external stakeholders, focusing on how policies connect to customers and helping them understand their advertising on Amazon better. The position sits within the Advertising Trust organization, which is vital to ensuring customer trust in advertising across 30+ countries. Responsibilities For Business Intelligence Engineer, Advertising Trust Data

  • Develop understanding of Advertising's data sources and know how to use data to solve business problems
  • Conduct deep dive analyses and translate requirements into data visualizations
  • Develop new ways to present data that adds value and insight
  • Identify projects to improve Ads Customer Trust, including defining metrics and goals
  • Partner with Tech, Product and Data engineering teams on analytics projects

Requirements For Business Intelligence Engineer, Advertising Trust Data

Python
  • 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL experience
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
  • Experience using SQL and Python to process data for modeling
