Amazon Fresh is seeking a proactive Business Intelligence Engineer to join their Analytics, Insights and Science (AIS) team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to transform data into actionable insights and tackle complex business problems. As a BIE, you'll be part of a team that empowers decision-making across banners while balancing quick value delivery with self-service solutions.

The position involves working with large-scale data sets, developing automated reporting systems, and creating impactful visualizations that drive business decisions. You'll collaborate with worldwide analytics teams to scale work efficiently and partner directly with stakeholders to deliver end-to-end reporting solutions.

Responsibilities For Business Intelligence Engineer, Amazon Fresh

  • Design, implement, and support key datasets for actionable business information
  • Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated reporting systems and dashboards
  • Participate in developing client BIE roadmaps and interface with stakeholders
  • Develop department KPIs and operational metrics
  • Develop complex queries for ad-hoc requests and projects
  • Deep dive into large data sets to answer key business questions
  • Maintain data integrity and perform QA Audits
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly data reports
  • Respond to high priority requests from senior business leaders

Requirements For Business Intelligence Engineer, Amazon Fresh

Python
  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse
  • Experience with scripting in Python to process data for modeling
  • Experience in the data/BI space
