Amazon and MX Player have joined forces to create Amazon MX Player, merging two of India's most popular free AVOD (ad-supported video on demand) services to serve 250 million users in India. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of free streaming entertainment in India as a Business Intelligence Engineer.

The position requires an analytical leader who can build and scale data streams for a digital video business while working in a highly collaborative environment with both local Indian teams and global teams in Seattle. You'll be responsible for creating end-to-end analytics solutions that drive business decisions and have measurable customer impact.

The ideal candidate will excel at navigating ambiguity, gathering business requirements, and creating impactful BI solutions. Responsibilities For Business Intelligence Engineer, Amazon MX Player

  • Build and scale data streams for digital video business in India
  • Work with local teams in India and Global teams in Seattle
  • Build and maintain end-to-end analytics solutions
  • Gather business requirements and create BI analytics solutions
  • Set vision, strategy and roadmap for data analytics

Requirements For Business Intelligence Engineer, Amazon MX Player

Python
  • 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL experience
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse
  • Python scripting experience to process data for modeling
