As a Business Intelligence Engineer at Amazon Pharmacy, you will:
- Partner with Pharmacy business, tech and data science leadership to define and deliver a world-class data infrastructure
- Architect scalable and resilient data solutions for real time and batch processing
- Build self-service business intelligence infrastructure for Amazon Pharmacy analytics users
- Work with SDEs/other DEs to invent, design and build data solutions that are stable and performant
- Help your team evolve by actively participating in the code review process, design discussions, team planning, and ticket/metric/COE reviews

Qualifications:
- Experience building measures and metrics, and developing reporting solutions
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience using Cloud Storage and Computing technologies such as AWS Redshift, S3, Hadoop, etc.
- Completed Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Master's degree in statistics, data science, or an equivalent quantitative field
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
- Experience with statistical analytics and programming languages such as R, Python, Ruby, etc.
Amazon offers a competitive compensation package, including equity, sign-on payments, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year to $185,000/year, depending on the geographic market and job-related factors.
