Amazon is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to join their Creator product suite team, focusing on building Earth's most desired destination for digital content creators. This role combines analytical expertise with business impact, working at the intersection of data and creator success.

The position involves developing innovative solutions that directly impact millions of creators and customers across Amazon's ecosystem. You'll be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable analytics tools, providing actionable insights to senior leadership, and helping shape the strategy for creator monetization and satisfaction.

As a BIE, you'll work with large-scale, complex datasets using advanced tools and technologies including SQL, Python, and various data visualization platforms. The role requires both technical expertise in data analysis and the ability to translate complex findings into actionable business recommendations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong foundation in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $89,600 to $185,000 per year, depending on location and experience, plus additional benefits. Requirements For Business Intelligence Engineer, Creators

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or equivalent quantitative field
  • 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL experience
  • Experience using SQL and Python for data processing and modeling
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics
