AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join their Data Science and Analytics team within Hardware Engineering Services. This role is crucial in designing and maintaining server solutions for AWS and its customers. As a BIE, you'll work in a diverse team alongside Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and SDEs to create impactful business intelligence solutions.

The position offers an opportunity to work on complex problems with global impact, supporting AWS's infrastructure that powers cloud computing worldwide. You'll be responsible for developing sophisticated BI solutions, working with large-scale datasets, and creating data visualizations that drive business decisions.

  • 5+ years of experience in analyzing, interpreting and reporting data
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse
  • Python scripting experience to process data for modeling
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders
