Decision Science and Technology is seeking an entrepreneurial, innovative and self-driven Business Intelligence Engineer to join their team. This global role focuses on developing analytics insights and reporting tools to reduce maintenance costs and increase safety across multiple business programs in Reliability and Maintenance Engineering (RME).
The position involves partnering with product managers, program managers, business stakeholders, and scientists to build reporting data models and business KPIs supporting high-judgment decisions. The role goes beyond basic reporting, emphasizing automation to scale analytics needs for all stakeholders. You'll work with various technologies and systems, particularly in Condition Based Monitoring and Labor planning strategies.
The team's mission is to leverage data, science, and technology to improve RME maintenance activities' efficiency, reduce costs, increase safety, and promote sustainability while creating frictionless customer experiences. They work across different research areas including Computer Vision, Inventory management, Anomaly detection, Optimization, and Natural Language processing (NLP).
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in data analysis, visualization, and ETL processes, with expertise in tools like Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, Tableau, and Python. They should be capable of handling large-scale, complex datasets and be comfortable working in a rapidly evolving landscape. AWS experience is a plus, particularly with services like EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
