Amazon's Global Talent Management and Compensation (GTMC) team is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join their Executive Talent Management Analytics team. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact 300,000+ Amazonians worldwide through data-driven talent programs and processes.

As a BI Engineer, you'll work directly with S-Team leaders and executives, influencing talent program improvements through sophisticated data analysis and reporting. You'll be responsible for end-to-end business intelligence for new and evolving talent products, from opportunity identification to product design and evaluation strategies.

The position combines technical expertise in data engineering and analysis with strategic business impact. You'll build proof-of-concept reporting tools, develop self-serve analytics capabilities, and create reproducible research shared across Amazon's diverse businesses. Requirements For Business Intelligence Engineer, Executive Talent Management Analytics

Python
  • 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL experience
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python)
