The Amazon Fire TV Team is seeking a passionate and solution-oriented Business Intelligence Engineer to build analytical solutions that deepen our understanding of customers, influence innovation, and deliver actionable insights. In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with Fire TV Marketing and Engagement teams, Data Science, Product, and Data Engineers across Amazon Devices.
- Utilize analytic tools and languages (notably SQL) and present results using written summaries and visualization tools like Tableau.
- Develop scalable solutions and self-serve platforms for data-driven decision making.
- Investigate data sources across Amazon and expand existing device data infrastructure.
- Conduct analyses to uncover opportunities and present business recommendations for device customer engagement, sales, and marketing.
- Develop a thorough understanding of customer behavior, competitive product trends, and business drivers.
- Analyze key insight trends and build predictive models of customer behavior.
- Provide analytical support to finance and product management teams.
- Analyze data to help product teams improve key business metrics and customer experience.
- Propose and prioritize changes to reporting and create additional metrics based on program changes and customer requirements.

- Enabling decision-making by aggregating data from multiple sources
- Architecting standardized data models for analysis and long-term reporting
- Analyzing large data sets using database query and visualization tools
- Providing technical expertise in data extraction, integration, and analysis

- Translating business requirements into technical requirements
- Managing multiple projects and communicating priorities effectively
