A day in the life: Your day begins with a virtual stand-up meeting, connecting with team members across the US and Europe. You dive into analyzing a complex dataset related to import shipment delays, using your SQL and Python skills to uncover insights. By midday, you're collaborating with logistics program managers to translate these findings into actionable recommendations. In the afternoon, you're fine-tuning a Redshift query to improve dashboard performance, then jumping on a call with the data engineering team to discuss integrating a new data source. You conclude your day by documenting your progress and outlining priorities for the following day, ensuring continuous advancement of the team's analytical capabilities.

Python
  • 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
  • Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)
  • Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)
  • Experience with building and maintain basic data artifacts (e.g. ETL, data models, queries)
