Business Intelligence Engineer II, Amazon Business

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with multiple teams across various functional areas and geographies (EU, JP, UK) to extract business requirements and propose strategic and tactical levers for developing the B2B marketplace.
• Analyzing and solving business problems at their root, understanding the broader context.
• Identifying, developing, managing, and executing analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and presenting written business recommendations.
• Developing end-to-end self-service BI solutions to support decision-making for key stakeholders in the EU and worldwide.
• Training business stakeholders to use BI tools and become autonomous in data analysis.
• Researching and implementing novel approaches to enhance existing technical and business processes to improve customer and stakeholder experience.

Required qualifications:

• Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab
• Experience using SQL to pull data from databases or data warehouses
• Scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
• Experience in the data/BI space

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
• Experience in data mining, ETL, etc., and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
• Experience with Microsoft Technologies (e.g., Power BI, SSAS, DAX)
