Business Intelligence Engineer II, PAM

Join Amazon's Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) team as a Business Intelligence Engineer II within the Planning Automation Modules (PAM) team. This role is crucial in revolutionizing how S&OP generates plans across global operations. PAM currently supports inventory flow planning for over 300 Fulfillment Centers worldwide.

You'll be part of a pioneering team building infrastructure to support S&OP processes at a global scale. The role involves developing complex optimization models, creating data solutions, and implementing visualization metrics to enhance planning automation. You'll work with cutting-edge business intelligence tools and handle large-scale, complex datasets.

The position offers significant autonomy and ownership in solving challenging problems that directly impact customers. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across Transportation, Labor Planning, and Finance, while working closely with Supply Chain Optimization Technology teams in North America.

This is a unique opportunity to join a Day 1 initiative, where you'll help scale PAM for worldwide operations. The role combines technical expertise in data engineering with business impact, as you'll be responsible for maintaining and creating new data pipelines that serve worldwide S&OP and operation teams.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data analysis, process improvement, and the ability to dive deep into complex data.
