Description For Business Intelligence Engineer III, Supply Chain

Amazon Supply Chain is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer III to join their EU S&OP team. This role is crucial in forecasting inventory flows and optimizing the fastest-growing e-commerce business in the world. You'll be responsible for developing new models and visualization tools to drive improvements in S&OP accuracy, automation, and plan optimality.

As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you'll create automated data pipelines and establish the single source of truth for operations teams. You'll work closely with Supply Chain Optimization Technology teams in North America and collaborate with EU stakeholders in Transportation, Retail, and Finance teams. This position offers an opportunity to impact Amazon's mission of being Earth's most customer-centric company.

The role combines technical expertise with business acumen, requiring strong skills in data modeling, visualization, and analytics. Requirements For Business Intelligence Engineer III, Supply Chain

Python
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SQL and experience writing complex SQL queries
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with proven self-motivation and project follow-through
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present to all levels within the company
  • Experience with results, metrics and data management
