Business Intelligence Engineer, Japan Transportation Engineering & Analytics

Amazon Japan Transportation is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to build and operate crucial data pipelines and applications. As part of one of Japan's largest e-commerce operations, you'll work in a rapidly growing organization leveraging data, machine learning, statistics, and algorithmic engineering skills.

The role involves:

• Building and maintaining ETL pipelines, data marts, and dashboards used widely across business teams
• Designing and implementing solutions for cost improvement and workload reduction in transportation team processes
• Using AWS and Amazon Internal Tools for architecture design, development, and operations
• Working with machine learning, combinatorial optimization, and probability statistics
• Managing and monitoring pipeline stability and resource management
• Collaborating with other regions to implement successful solutions
• Understanding and promoting AI/LLM usage within Amazon

The supply chain logistics at Amazon Japan is becoming increasingly complex with continuous growth. You'll be essential in creating and improving transportation-related indicators, dashboards, and operational efficiency.
