Description For Business Intelligence Engineer, Kuiper Science, ML, AI, and Reporting

Project Kuiper is an ambitious Amazon initiative focused on launching a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide high-speed broadband connectivity to underserved communities worldwide. As a Business Intelligence Engineer on the Kuiper SMART team, you'll work alongside ML Engineers, Scientists, and Data Engineers to drive critical business insights and solve complex problems using ML and AI.

The role combines technical expertise with business acumen, requiring strong analytical abilities and comfort with large-scale data operations. You'll be responsible for establishing and monitoring Kuiper service KPIs, engineering metrics, and providing data-driven insights that directly impact business decisions.   • Establish and provide Kuiper service KPIs and engineering metrics
  • Drive the Kuiper Software Rhythm of business
  • Retrieve, integrate, visualize and present critical data
  • Work with stakeholders across Kuiper on providing business insights
  • Solve complex problems with ML and AI

Requirements For Business Intelligence Engineer, Kuiper Science, ML, AI, and Reporting

Python
  • 10+ years of professional or military experience
  • 5+ years of SQL experience
  • Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
  • Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis
  • Experience with AWS technologies
  • Experience in scripting for automation and advanced SQL skills
  • Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee due to export control laws
