Amazon's AMER OpsTech Solutions (OTS) Operational Excellence team is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to lead data analytics initiatives. Responsibilities For Business Intelligence Engineer, OTS Operational Excellence
- Own the design and implementation for business intelligence architecture using AWS platform and products
- Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of new ongoing metrics, reports, analyzes, and dashboards
- Partner with technology teams to define, extract, transform, and load data from many data sources
- Conduct deep dive analyses of business problems and data issues
- Provide data based recommendations to leaders and partner teams
- Work with business stakeholders and product teams to drive automation, product and process improvements
Requirements For Business Intelligence Engineer, OTS Operational Excellence
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse
- Python scripting experience to process data for modeling
