Responsibilities For Business Intelligence Engineer, Project Kuiper

  • Work closely with production and finance teams to understand challenges and gather requirements
  • Communicate complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders
  • Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources
  • Assist in development of key metrics and performance indicators
  • Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated systems, reports and dashboards
  • Deliver business reviews to senior management
  • Manage local data infrastructure and develop scalable solutions
  • Document technical specifications and maintain data dictionaries
  • Implement data quality measures and monitoring
  • Conduct root cause analysis for data discrepancies

Requirements For Business Intelligence Engineer, Project Kuiper

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
  • 4+ years of experience using SQL to write complex queries in large databases
  • 3+ years of experience with building dashboards using data visualization tools
  • Experience with ETL processes, data pipeline development, and query optimization
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or refugee/asylee due to export control laws
