Description For Business Intelligence Engineer, Project Kuiper Production Operations

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious initiative to revolutionize global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). As a Business Intelligence Engineer on the Operations Program Management team, you'll be at the forefront of this groundbreaking project, working to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities worldwide.

The role sits within the Operations Analytics Team (OAT), a 15-person strong team of analysts, BIEs, and data engineers dedicated to developing end-to-end analytics products. You'll be responsible for driving continuous improvement and streamlining satellite technology production through data-driven insights and solutions.

Your day-to-day work will be highly collaborative, partnering with cross-functional leaders to tackle novel business problems that haven't been solved at scale before. You'll develop and implement sophisticated data analysis solutions, build self-service reporting platforms, and establish automated processes for large-scale data analysis.

The position requires strong technical skills in data analysis, visualization, and programming, with experience in tools like Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, Tableau, and Python. You'll need to be comfortable with ambiguity and excited about solving complex problems that directly impact millions of people's access to internet connectivity.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a cutting-edge space technology project while working for one of the world's leading technology companies. You'll have the chance to make a significant impact on global internet accessibility while working with state-of-the-art satellite technology and data systems.
