Business Intelligence Engineer, Promise Insights

Amazon's Promise team is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join their Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT) Group. This role is crucial in building data analysis systems that enable data-driven decision-making at scale. The Promise team is responsible for setting customer delivery expectations and serves as the interface between customer expectations and Amazon's fulfillment capabilities.

The position involves working with one of the world's largest data warehouse environments, developing analytics and visualization solutions used across multiple departments. You'll be part of the Promise Insights team in Austin, which manages critical services for customer delivery promises and owns the Promise data pipeline.

Key responsibilities include developing business reports, transforming complex problems into mathematical models, analyzing historical data, and collaborating with software teams. You'll work with huge datasets to provide business insights and enable data-driven decisions. The role requires expertise in data analysis, visualization tools, and ETL processes.

The ideal candidate should be customer-obsessed, flexible, and collaborative, with strong technical and analytical skills. You'll work cross-functionally with various teams in the Fulfillment Optimization organization, identifying system gaps and implementing solutions.
