Amazon is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join their Supply Chain Optimization Technologies team. This role focuses on building next-generation metrics and driving business analytics for Selection, working with models and systems that make worldwide selection decisions. As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing metrics for new products, creating deep dive analytics tools, and leading data visualization strategy. This high-visibility position involves collaboration with Engineers, Applied Scientists, Economists, PMTs, Directors, and cross-functional business partners.

The role demands excellent statistical and analytical abilities, combined with deep knowledge of business intelligence solutions and data engineering practices. You'll work with some of the world's largest datasets, developing automated solutions for reporting and conducting in-depth analyses. The position offers the freedom to innovate and directly impact customer experience within Amazon's fast-paced business environment.

Key responsibilities include writing expert-level SQL queries, driving business decisions through data insights, owning automated reporting solutions, and continuously improving analytical processes. You'll also work on inventing new ways to explore data and collaborate with Product Managers to transform business problems into defined data requirements.

The compensation package is comprehensive, ranging from $89,600 to $185,000 based on geographic location, plus equity, sign-on payments, and full benefits.
