Description For Business Intelligence Engineer, US Prime Video Finance

We are looking for an outstanding Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to join the US Prime Video Business Finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop analytical insights and work directly with business leaders to shape Prime Video's entertainment strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning, designing, developing, and managing scalable solutions for metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards.
  • Generating actionable insights through metrics development and deep dive analyses.
  • Serving as a technical, business-metrics specialist and insight provider.
  • Acting as a key interface between business customers and technical divisions.
  • Leveraging extensive data sets to derive strategic insights for content spend decisions.
  • Presenting insights to senior stakeholders in Finance and Business Teams.
  • Working in a fast-paced, global environment across various functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience with data analysis using tools like Redshift, Oracle, and NoSQL, as well as data visualization skills using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools. They should be proficient in SQL and have scripting experience (Python) for data processing and modeling.

Python
  • 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
  • Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
