Chief Engineer

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Center Chief Engineer to join their Engineering Operations Team. This role is crucial in maintaining the critical physical infrastructure supporting AWS data centers. The position involves ensuring 100% availability of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems while delivering exceptional customer service.

The Chief Engineer serves as the technical expert, managing a team of Engineering Operations Technicians and third-party vendors. They are responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting mission-critical equipment including electrical systems, mechanical systems, and fire/life safety equipment. The role requires hands-on leadership in equipment maintenance, emergency response, and team training.
