Description For CI Engineer, MSP CX Support

Amazon's Mechatronics and Sustainable Packaging organization (MSP) is at the forefront of revolutionizing order fulfillment through state-of-the-art material handling systems. As a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer, you'll join the worldwide CI team to enhance robotics, automation, and packaging machines across Amazon's global network. This role combines mechanical, controls, and robotics expertise to drive technical improvements that impact billions of customer orders annually.

You'll work at the intersection of hardware and software, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and implement improvements that enhance operational efficiency. The position requires a unique blend of technical expertise and stakeholder management, as you'll gather feedback from operations teams, analyze data, and develop solutions that scale across Amazon's worldwide robotics network.

This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on Amazon's fulfillment technology while working with cutting-edge robotics and automation systems. You'll own the full lifecycle of improvement initiatives, from initial concept through prototype development, testing, and worldwide deployment. Responsibilities For CI Engineer, MSP CX Support

  • Drive technical hardware, software and process improvements of Robotics, Automation and Packaging machines
  • Gather continuous improvement ideas through data analytics, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Voice of Customer (VOC)
  • Develop prototypes and run lab tests
  • Build business cases and develop engineering solutions
  • Field test and plan rollouts across worldwide Robotics network
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering and project management teams
  • Own full lifecycle of improvement initiatives
  • Develop and own roadmaps for MSP solutions

Requirements For CI Engineer, MSP CX Support

  • Bachelor's degree in technical field (Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering)
  • 5+ years of experience in a leading Engineering role
  • Experience with complex, multidisciplinary problems
  • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders and use structured approaches
  • Demonstrated ability to drive improvement initiatives
  • Proficiency in leading technical collaborations
  • Expertise in project management
  • Strong technical leadership skills
