Cleared Data Center Electrical Field Engineer, ADC Field Engineering

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Cleared Data Center Electrical Field Engineer to join their team in Northern Virginia. This role is crucial for supporting AWS's global infrastructure and data center operations. The ideal candidate will provide full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers from design inception through site improvement and maintenance. You'll work with cutting-edge technology and diverse teams, handling everything from design reviews to troubleshooting critical systems.

As a Field Engineer, you'll be the technical expert for your region, working on projects that directly impact AWS's data center capacity, availability, and safety. The role combines both office and field work, requiring strong engineering judgment and the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders including Operations, Controls, Construction, and Design teams.

The position offers unique challenges working with AWS's hyper-scale infrastructure, including various cooling systems and critical equipment. You'll be responsible for conducting engineering site audits, leading construction projects, and implementing solutions that improve efficiency and reliability.
