Key responsibilities include: • Helping customers architect scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage AWS services • Architecting and developing customer applications to be cloud optimized • Working as a technical leader alongside customer business, development and infrastructure teams • Providing deep software development knowledge with respect to cloud architecture, design patterns and programming • Advising and implementing AWS best practices • Working as both an infrastructure and application development specialist • Implementing DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration and automated deployment

Required Qualifications: • 6+ years experience in large-scale software development or application engineering • Recent coding experience in two or more modern programming languages • 3+ years experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) • 2+ years experience in cloud technologies design and provision • 2+ years experience with Canadian Federal and Provincial compliance and security standards • Fluency in French and English
Preferred Qualifications: • Security clearance with the Federal Government of Canada or ability to obtain it • Prior consulting experience • AWS or other CSP certification • Experience with source code repositories, automated build scripts, and testing tools • Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA and REST) • Ability to travel for projects
