Amazon Web Services India Private Limited (AWS India) is seeking a Cloud Support Associate for their Support Engineering team. This role is primarily focused on customer support in the cloud environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Solving customer cases through various contact channels (telephone, email, web/live chat)
- Applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions
- Diving deep into the root cause of issues
- Coaching/mentoring new hires
- Developing & presenting training
- Partnering with development teams on complex issues
- Writing tools/scripts to help the team
- Working on process improvement and strategic initiatives
The ideal candidate should have:
- 0-1 years of experience in Linux Systems administration, Database design and Optimization, BigData Analysis, Network administration, or Dev-ops
- Programming/scripting experience (Java, Perl, Ruby, C#, and/or PHP)
- Troubleshooting/Support experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer focus & multi-tasking skills
- Basic knowledge of OS concepts, Linux/Unix Systems administration, Networking, and Databases
- Exposure to Cloud computing
