Responsibilities For Cloud Support Eng. I (DTS), AWS Support engineering

  • Learn and use ground breaking technologies
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to customers
  • Partner with AWS teams to help reproduce and resolve customer issues
  • Drive customer communication during critical events
  • Write tutorials, how-to videos, and other technical articles for the developer community
  • Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that may span multiple AWS services
  • Provide feedback to internal AWS teams on how to improve services

Requirements For Cloud Support Eng. I (DTS), AWS Support engineering

Linux
Python
  • Bachelor's degree OR 2+ equivalent experience in a technical position
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols: DNS, HTTP, SSL, SFTP, TCP and UDP
  • Experience with web-based services and applications, Apache, Tomcat etc
  • Strong Unix/Linux or Windows system administration skills
  • Knowledge of filesystem, block and object storage, storage architectures and backup/DR strategies
