AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of cloud technology, working with a global customer base using AWS services. You'll serve as a 'Cloud Ambassador,' helping customers maximize their AWS investment through technical support, troubleshooting, and solution architecture guidance.

Responsibilities For Cloud Support Engineer

  • Solve customer cases through various contact channels (telephone, email, web/chat)
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide solutions
  • Drive customer communication during critical events
  • Partner with AWS teams to reproduce and resolve customer issues
  • Write tutorials, how-to videos, and technical articles
  • Work on complex customer problems spanning multiple AWS services
  • Coach/mentor new hires
  • Develop and present training
  • Write tools/scripts to help the team

Requirements For Cloud Support Engineer

Linux
  • Experience in software development or technical support
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred)
