Description For Cloud Support Engineer (Big Data / AIML)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer specializing in Big Data and AI/ML technologies. As part of the AWS Support team, you'll be at the forefront of transformational technology, working with a global customer base to troubleshoot, build, secure, and optimize their workloads. The role focuses on Machine Learning technologies, including Amazon SageMaker and Bedrock, as well as dealing with open source models.

You'll join a team of passionate cloud computing experts who believe world-class support is critical to customer success. Daily responsibilities include working with cutting-edge ML technologies, providing advanced troubleshooting, and collaborating with leading engineers worldwide. You'll also contribute to improving AWS services through customer feedback and create technical content for the developer community.

Requirements For Cloud Support Engineer (Big Data / AIML)

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, computer science, machine learning, robotics, operations research, statistics, mathematics or equivalent quantitative field
  • Experience with programming/scripting (Batch, VB, PowerShell, Java, C#, Chef, Perl, Ruby and/or PHP)
  • Experience with System Administration with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) and/or Microsoft Windows Server
  • Experience with Networking and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, firewalls, LAN/WAN)
  • Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • Good understanding of distributed computing environments
