As a Cloud Support Engineer for BigData at AWS, you will:
- Learn at an accelerated pace how to use and leverage various cloud technologies to help customers succeed
- Act as a Cloud Ambassador across AWS products, providing customers with tools and tactics to scale their impact in worldwide markets
- Support Big Data services that leverage data and produce business insights, including machine learning/artificial intelligence (ML/AI)
- Work with services like EMR (Hadoop), DynamoDB (NoSQL), MongoDB, and Apache Cassandra
- Solve customer cases through various contact channels (telephone, email, web/live chat)
- Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques and dive deep into root causes
- Drive initiatives to improve support-related processes and customer experience
- Provide feedback to internal AWS teams on service improvements
- Work on critical, complex customer problems spanning multiple AWS services
- Continuously learn groundbreaking technologies and develop new technical skills
- Participate in hiring processes and mentor new team members
The role requires flexibility to work 5 days a week (occasionally on weekends) on a rotational basis. Schedules may align to Sunday - Thursday, Tuesday – Saturday, or Monday - Friday.

Compensation includes a base pay range of $71,100/year to $158,900/year, depending on the geographic market and other factors. Additional benefits may include equity, sign-on payments, and a full range of medical and financial benefits.
